Important Wheat Diseases in Iran + Methods of Coping them
The most economical method of controlling cereal diseases is the use of resistant cultivars. So far, no wheat and barley cultivars have been reported as all viral diseases, especially in the group of yellow barley and cereal dwarf viruses, but the Cross Justice cultivar is a highly resistant to wheat vein mosaic virus.
Seed disinfection with absorbent insecticides such as Imidaklopride (Gacho) and Tiathoxam (Cruzir) with a 1,000 -per -1 ratio is very effective in reducing viral diseases of wheat and barley and increasing grain yield. Dissolve 100 grams of one of the poisons in 10 liters of water and treat 100 kg of wheat or barley seeds with this solution and cultivate after the seed dry.
Suitable Wheat and Winter Cultivation Dates in order to avoid plant contamination in the plant stage or to viral pathogens with natural carriers for these three climates as described as Table 1, so that it can be used in Iran (based on Dr. Karimi's climate) in Iran.
